iPhone 7 - camera cannot focus/blurry on far objects

Recently got my iPhone 7 two weeks ago when it was released. My camera was working fine but for the past two days when I try to focus on a person/object far away it remains blurry. It just doesn't sharpen or focus on the person/object. It is only focus on something that is very close to the camera. Not sure if this is a brand new issue...? Anyone else know how to fix this? Thanks.

I also dont know, my iPhone 7+ takes more blurry photos than my iPhone 5

It also has the shutter bug with a dark flashing screen on the photo mode

spent a lot of money on it for the camera feature, but find when i take close ups of small objects (which is why i bought it for the telephoto for macro), it skips between telephoto and digiatal, and cant decide which lens to focus with

The dual lens thing has turned out to be a gimmick that has made a good lens, into an unusable product for people trying to take professional pics of their products (which is what i do).

I wont be buying another iPhone, after 8 years with Apple uysing only mac, ipad, iphone, and apple peripherals such as apple tv, time machine, airport etc

This was the last time i spend money on a device of this pricetag and find out after a month or two that the device is full of inadequacies.

they sell us their devices to test if they work, and then dump us with the problem

I live in Thailand, and there is no Apple shops here, it is administrated by Singapore. when i once had a iPhone break under guarantee, i asked Apple to help, and they said 'we dont have a repair station in Thailand' so i said 'can i send it to Singapore seeing as Apple Thailand HQ is based in Singapore? they said 'No only if you bought the phone in Singapore'

I said 'well all Apple produycts are guaranteed for one year, how are you going to repair my phone under the guarantee?'

We dont' she said

'Why?' i said

'because we cant, we dont have a repair station in Thailand'

I then asked 'if so, then how can you lawfully sell with a guarantee for repair if break in one year, when you cannot fulfil the promise?

she hung up

Thats Apple Asia

The iPhone 7+ Camera is useless, like a 5 megapixel thing. it was good until iOS 10.2

So I read the link and checked my phone, as well as an old 6 that takes good pictures.

I definitely have some debris on the underside of the glass protecting the larger lens. I cleaned the outside carefully and checked for scratches but it's not external. The phone is only a few days old. Literally. I guess it's back to Apple as this is the 2nd 7 Plus (this week) with these blurry/noisy/out of focus images.

With my first 7 Plus I saw the image quality thing right away as I dabble in photography. I showed a rep some 6S Plus images vs my 7 Plus images and he admitted it didn't look good. He showed a tech and they gave me a new phone out of retail box immediately. I should add that it had only been 1 or 2 days from original purchase. Now that I see debris I have to go back but will be going straight to a tech and I may be OK with a non-retail version.

I tried to do a hard reset as well as a restoring and resetting to factory settings and trying out the phone that way. Unfortunately it didn't work. After speaking with customer service online they booked an appointment with me at Apple store. At the store they also did a diagnostic test on my phone and could not solve the problem so they gave me a new phone as they didn't have a solution yet for the new iphone 7s.

Good luck!
